Music as a central part of worship—you are invited to sing along or simply listen and reflect.
-
A come-as-you-are atmosphere—dress in what makes you feel comfortable.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
Come as you feel comfortable! You’ll see people in jeans, shorts, dresses, and jackets—whatever feels right for you is fine. God doesn’t care what you wear, and neither do we!
Can I Take Communion If I'm Not an Episcopalian?
Yes! All baptized Christians, regardless of denomination, are welcome to receive Communion in the Episcopal Church. If you prefer not to receive Communion, you’re still invited to come forward. Simply kneel and cross your arms over your chest, and the priest will offer a blessing for you. If you're interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the church office—we’d love to talk with you!
How Do I Take Communion?
After the priest invites the congregation to receive Communion ("The gifts of God for the people of God"), ushers will dismiss each row to come forward. When it’s your turn: 1. Go to the altar rail and kneel if you’re able (standing is fine if kneeling is difficult). 2. Hold out your hands to receive the bread, which will be placed in your palms. You have two options for receiving the wine: 1. Drink directly from the chalice after eating the bread. Dip (intinct) your wafer into the wine when the chalice is presented, then consume it immediately. 2. After receiving Communion, return to your seat using the side aisles.
Do I Have to Drink the Wine?
No. If you prefer not to receive the wine, simply cross your arms over your chest after receiving the bread. This signals to the minister that you do not wish to partake in the wine.
I'm Gluten-free, Will I Be Able to Take Communion?
Yes! Gluten-free wafers are available. When you kneel to receive Communion, simply say "Gluten-free," and the minister will provide you with a gluten-free wafer.
