Chapel in the Woods
Upcoming Sunday outdoor services will be held at 10 a.m. on September 4th, and October 16th. Outdoor Eucharist is is a wholesome way to worship God, give it a try and bring a friend! In case of rain, one bilingual service is held at St. James' Episcopal Church 14 Cornwall Street NW, Leesburg at 3 p.m. 

St. Gabriel's Chapel in the Woods is located at the corner of Battlefield Parkway and Fort Evans Road, Leesburg. Parking is available at the Middleburg Bank in the Fort Evans II Plaza. Park. To reach the outdoor chapel, cross Battlefield, walk South toward Fort Evans Road, the entrance is directly across from the two blue water towers. Feel free to use the Chapel or the labyrinth at anytime for walks, reflection and prayer!

Saint Gabriel's is a mission church in Leesburg, VA that was planted in 2002.  Through prayer and action we live into our holy mission to "Encounter God, build meaningful relationships, and make a difference in the world" by offering inspiring worship, faith-building discipleship, warm fellowship, hearfelt pastoral care, active evangelism, outreach, and service to all. 

We are a hospitable and inclusive faith community open to people at any stage in their faith journey with Christ. You are welcome just as God made you!  When you worship with us feel free to dress up or dress down - God doesn't care what you wear, nor do we!

Read the story here! St. Gabriel's was acknowledged for partnering with Paxton Campus to provide a home for Linda Huffman and her son Phillip Coe, both people with disabilities. Parishioner, Parker Gallagher was instrumental in identifying an affordable mobile home for the family and having it moved to Leesburg. This is a result of the relationship between St. G's and Paxton! Thank you Parker Gallagher

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITES WITH PAXTON MANOR’S SHOCKTOBER FUNDRAISER:   Saint Gabriel's and Paxton Campus share a mission to serve children and adults with learning disabilities and their families. This is why we are request you consider volunteering at Shocktober, their largest fundraising event of the year.  Click here for more information and to complete the volunteer application. Shocktober is an annual event, and thousands of people flock to the campus because it is on the top 10 scariest haunts in Virginia! It opens on Friday Sept. 30 and ends Sunday Oct. 30th (Friday-Sunday).
